Magnetic surveys are used for detailed geological mapping in structural and deposit geology, engineering geophysics and archaeology.
Survey consists in the measurements and analysis of the Earth's natural magnetic field, determination and interpretation of magnetic anomalies generated by magnetic contrasting geological structures or metal objects in the ground. Magnetic method is used in structural, deposit and engineering geology.

Earth's magnetic field (geomagnetic field) surrounds our planet. Incomparably earlier before man many animals relay on magnetic field for navigation and spatial orientation, generally by sensing the changes or disturbances in the magnetic field. This feature - changes in the magnetic field - is observed by man using specialized instruments as magnetometers.
OUR EXPERIENCE
Magnetic surveys have been carried out by PBG LTD since the company founding (1950). It is estimated that over 2 million magnetic points have been measured so far.
Magnetic surveys performed by our company has made a significant contribution to structural geology and geology of mineral deposit of Poland.
Moreover our PBG LTD participated in many foreign projects for petroleum and mineral exploration, involving magnetic surveys (Romania, Indonesia, Philippines,, Kosovo).
