Magnetic surveys have been carried out by PBG LTD since the company founding (1950). Our activities in this field have made a a significant contribution to structural geology and  geology of mineral deposits of Poland. PBG Ltd also participated in many  foreign projects for petroleum and mineral exploration involving magnetic surveys (Romania, Indonesia, Philippines, Kosovo).

Magnetic survey is used for detailed geological mapping in structural and deposit geology, engineering geophysics and archaeology. Survey consists in the measurements and analysis of the Earth's natural magnetic field, determination and interpretation of magnetic anomalies generated by magnetic contrasting geological structures or metal objects in the ground.
